ANDREW WINGFIELD
Co-Founder
Andrew’s background is as a Solicitor working in magic circle law and the City. He has managed and developed a succession of in-house legal teams in the global investment banking and financial services sector, becoming Managing Director and Global Head for a legal division of a major European investment bank. While having to steer through many diverse challenges in a rapidly changing world, Andrew became interested in the creation of new approaches and new ideas, ultimately going on to pursue wider avenues and interests all with the purpose of finding answers to questions like: how can things be made better – for example in the provision of legal services - and, more generally, what new ideas can be brought to make positive transformation in people’s engagement and effectiveness in the workplace?
PETE IMPEY
Co-Founder
Peter has experience and skills as a lawyer, manager and business consultant specialising in legal tech. He started his career with internet start-ups and management consultancy prior to training as a solicitor in a leading City law firm and subsequently joined the structured products and derivatives in-house legal team at a major international corporate and investment bank. After developing specialist knowledge in technology design and deployment he was appointed Global Head of Systems, Master Agreements. He pioneered technology to transform operational aspects of managing legal contracts and related document data. In the aftermath of the 2008 financial crisis, he had a key role in regulatory reform projects relating to derivatives documentation and collateral. Peter is a Solicitor and a Chartered Member of the Chartered Management Institute.
